Thursday. Got to school about 3 minutes late. Have Study Hall 1st so it doesn't really matter. We had Chicken Fajitas for lunch on thur. At 2:30 we left school (on the 'yellow bus---read wed, jan 27). Anyway, it took like 7 hours to get to Fort Yates. We played at Fort Yates Public (not exactly the top of the line facility if you know what I mean) and the volleyball team played at Standing Rock HS (a pretty new school, not wonderful but not like Ft. Yates). Anyway, we're playing right. At halftime we're up 11. End of the 3rd, up 5. End of the game...we lost by 3. We played a pretty solid defensive game but missed some opportunities in the 2nd half on the offensive side. In the pre-limn game, our Jr. High lost to Ft. Yates's JV (freshman and sophmores) by something like 3 or 4. And the volleyball ladies won 3 games to 0, I think. Firday...Today the East-West Wrestling tourney begins at 5pm. However, the set up for the East-West wrestling tourney begins when schol does. Basically, the Phy Ed classes turn into 'set-up' crews. Fortunately, I'm in 4th hour Phy Ed and most of the dirty work was done. Tonight, as we speak, a whole bunch of dudes are wrestling. There's like 20 or so schools in the thing. Championships are tomorrow evening. Also, tomorrow the JV basketball guys go to GU to play for 7th-8th place at 2:30pm. I'll probably skip on over to Glen Ullin to watch that there game. And now, my writing will come to an end for the time being. Be sure to come back for more tomorrow. c u later.

Ok. Let's begin, shall we? Sunday was a waste of a day. I slept 'til noonish and then stayed in bed and watched TV all day. Monday then greeted me with a lovely day of school...ha! After school we had a lovely practice as well. Tuesday...went to school (yea, didn't graduate yet). So, anyway, we had a game against Elgin-New Liepzig whom we had lost to by 1 in the Mandan Holiday Tourney. We lost by 16. I had 8 points but that didn't matter. In all actuallity, I could've had 23 points and we would've lost by one. Whatever though. JV played in Glen Ullin and lost by 8 or 9 to Center's JV. They came back for the varsity game gettting there about half way through the 2nd quarter. After the game, the team member's, cheerleader's, stat's and whomever else's parents served tacos on a plate for us. It was a very nice thing to do. Marty was hungry after his 2 game night but then again, when isn't that guy hungry? :) So. Today. We were going to have a morning practice at 6:30. It got cancelled due to the weather. So, this brought about a dilema of some sort. Its either, don't practice (yea right, I bet!), practice after volleyball (not gonna happen), practice at the Elementary school (not even a full size gym) or practice at the New Salem Auditorium which was built in 1890 and then renivated in 1910 when they added the present basketball court. Yep, we were practicing on a piece of history. I believe the court was so old that Dusty's dad even played there (and you know how old Dusty's dad is, right?). Anyway, 2 baskets, 8 basketballs, 20 people...you figure it out. So, we practiced from 4 'til 5:45 and then went home without showering since there are no showers in the lovely facility. Now, in all seriousness...The Auditorium is a great facility for wedding dances, lunch and supper events, meetings, gathering, plays, or whatever else you can think of. However, it really is not a "great" place to play basketball but I guess its better than playing on the tennis courts in 2 feet of snow in a temperature of -5 degrees. OK. We go to the metropolis of Fort Yates tomorrow on a yellow bus (Because the volleyball girls get the greyhound). We leave at 2:30 pm. We play at 7:30 pm. We leave Fort Yates at 9:30 pm. We get home at 2:00 am. We Ha!!!! gOOd nIGHt...and...sWeeT dReaMs.

Last night we played an excellent game against Shiloh but we lost by a few. This morning we got up really early and went to play H-M-B (Hazzelton-Moffit-Braddock) at the Civic Center. I guess it was pretty cool playing there once you got used to the huge lights that glared down on the court. Anyway, we played pretty good (considering the time of day (9am) and that we had just played the night before). We lost again however. So, we left and ate at Burger King and went home. Right now its 3:21. Nothing is going on right now. Pretty exciting day. I won't write tomorrow cause nothing happens on Sunday's so I'll probably write on Mon. We got a game Tuesday, too. bye now.

PS- Friday I found out that the supposed bomb in the 35¢ pop machine was really a thing that takes dollars.

Thursday, Jan 21, 1999

I know I haven't written for a long time. I've been sick and Sunday nothing happens anyway. So, Sunday, nothing happened. Oh yea, we got beat by DGVZH by 20 some points. Monday I got sick. We had a pre-game practice and I got sicker. So, Tuesday morning I was dead tired but still came to school. I went to the Dr. and she gave me some pills. They worked great! Ha... So, I didn't play at Center that night. We lost the game by 41. Enough said. Wednesday was picture day. I was still sick. We took all the pictures in the morning and I was hardly in class in the morning. Then at practice that night I sat and watched. I still went to church that night but I never took off my coat or gloves. This morning I felt a lot better but still not great but whatever. Anyway, I praticed tonight and we got a game tomorrow against Shiloh at St. Joe's in Mandan cause Shiloh doesn't have a gym. I better go to bed now so I get better. bye.

Saturday, Jan 16, 1999

It is 3:45pm right now. I have a game in about 2 hours. We play DGVZH. Let me translate that for you. Its Dodge, Golden Valley, Zap. Halliday. Whole bunch of little towns that all go to the same school. So, you'll find out tomorrow if we won. If you read this in the next couple hours, go to the game. I have nothing else to say. I got up at noon. Oh yea. I finally got the Aztec level on 007 but to ost of you that means nothing. bye.

Friday, Jan 15, 1999

I had tests on Thursday and Friday. One of the reasons I didn't write yesterday. Anyway, Thursday I toke 1, 3, 5, and 7. We had practice that morning but yet, I managed to pull myself together and last the whole day. So, Thursday night I studied for a long time and today I took 2 and 6 (I left during 4th and went and ate at RJ's. I had a bacon cheeseburger.) Then we came back to school and had one of the biggest snow-ball-wars in the history of NSHS. Every car that drove by got nailed. Every person who was in the way got nailed. And most of all, Marty's car got nailed (mostly by Billy). So then we took 6th and had practice. I then went to a bit of the volleyball games then went home. I watched a little CNN or some news channel and found out about the days events (in-otherwords...Clinton and so forth). Clinton is the president of the United States in case you didn't know. Hey, guess what. Leigh's dad is going to sellme his white s-10 for $200. Right? Huh? Maybe? Really? no....ok....good.night.

Don't even say it. I know I haven't written in a while. Here's the story. Sunday I did nothing and nothing happened. Monday we had morning practice and it was a light one. I think we had subs for lunch. Anyway, then I went home after school and it was great fun. Tuesday school was great! We Ha! So, for lunch we Salsbury Steak and Baked Potatoes. Now, I just wanna say something. Why the hell do they call it steak? It sure's the heck ain't steak. It doesn't even come close to being steak. It's not even meat. It would probably be considered a vegatable (well, maybe not). It was rubbery man! The potato was good, however. Once you took the dirty skin off it. We left at 2:40 for Underwood on a 'yellow bus'. Why? you ask. Cause the Volleyballers didn't want to be cold. (Actually it was because they had a lot more people to haul.) So, we were cold and wet (yes, wet). We got there and then played and lost by 20. The story of our season. We were close in the first quarter and down eight at the half. Then it just went downhill. So, whatever. Today we had no practice at all. Its cold out, too. I got stuck this morning on the east side of school, parked next to the curb. I was going to leave it until noon but Shawn asked if I needed a push and I said alright. So, Shawn and J.T. came and basically watched be rock it out off the monster drift. Then I went and parked on the other side of the road. We got semester tests tomorrow so I better go study. I'll be back. bye ;^)

Saturday, Jan 9, 1999

At about 11 o'clock this morning, the Klemdaddy arose from his slumber. I didn't do anything all day. At 7:30 I went to church then came home. That's all. Here I am. My fridge is stocked with a 12 pack of Mt. Dew and a 12 pack of Mello Yello. I think I'm going to take off the 'quote of the day' page pretty soon. Bye.

Friday, Jan 8, 1999

Getting up this morning was pretty easy becuase I went to bed right after I got done updating my page yesterday. That was about 10 o'clock pm. At school we had lice check. Everybody has it. They had to evacuate the school. It sucked. Well, guess what. I lied. No one had lice (not even 'you know who'). For lunch we had tacos that we were supposed to have yesterday. Whatever. At least we got them. Better than pancakes. After school Martian, Weezer, and Pablo came over again. We played 64, again. So, they all left and stuff and I had about an hour to eat or whatever. Guess what I had for supper. Tacos. Good ones too. I mean, I'm still feeling these puppies as we speak. So, then I went to the game. I watched the JV game then got dressed. We played a real good first quarter. These guys are the defending state champs and we were done 9 beginning the second quarter. We lost though. BIG. It was 105-48 or something like that. That's all about that. After the game Leigh, Myles and Kristen came over over. Kristen just left at 10:30 and Leigh and Myles are still here. Myles wants to hi: Hey hows it going? Well got to go. Leigh wants to say hi, too: Hi people hows it goin? Hey kristin i told you i wouldn't write any thing bad in the guestbook! bye! Kelly wants to say something now: Bye

Thursday, Jan 7, 1999

Got up at 6:12 am and attended a lovely morning practice. So, needless to say, school went excellent. I was so wide awake and attentive. That was a joke in case you were wondering. Anyway, after school Martian, Weezer, and Pablo came to my house to play a little 64. Then at 5pm we left for U Mary to watch a men's basketball game. First we stopped at Pizza Hut. We came in and about 10 pizzas were just sitting there waiting to be eaten. So we all left. Ha, ha. So we ate and went to the game and came home. That's all. Got a game tomorrow against the defending state champions Standing Rock. Should be fun. I don't have time now but I'll tell you about the fridge I got, tomorrow. Bye

Wednesday, Jan 6, 1999

Today I got up at about 7:50 and made it to school at about 8:15. Not bad time management, ay? So, for lunch, we had wet noodles again and also pancakes and sausage. I think that all the cooks are on weed. That is a pretty crazy combination. I mean, what the hell. Do you ever have noodles for breakfast? Well, I just don't eat breakfast. Then we had practice after band and it was great fun. Real great stuff man. After practice (I got home at 6:20) I ate. I got cold noodles and a hamburger (It wasn't my mom's fault though. It's not her fault practice goes til, forever.) Anyway, I got done at 'bout 6:50 and off to church. I prayed for 2 hours straight and then came home. This is a shout out to Jarred M. Thanks for parking so close to me at church. Actually, I should be saying thanks that there wasn't really a big red mark on my truck for his passenger door. I have to say hi to Alicia S, Mindy S, and Pip. I like ketch-up very much, thank you. I already told you what I had for supper. But, you guys have to sign my guestbook again. All of you. Everyone that signed it in the last couple days has to re-sign it because I re-did it. Ok? Good. I noticed that some people from Parshal, ND signed it. You'll have to sign it again, too. Well, I got morning practice tomorrow. Why, I don't know for sure but, we do. Its at 6:30 and its 9:30 now so I have less than 9 hours from now til I'm up and at 'em again. I suppose I better sign off. byE.

Tuesday, Jan 5, 1999

Monday's first. I went back to school after 2 weeks of freedom (well I guess it was semi-freedom because we actually had about 5 days of actual vacation if you don't count the days we had basketball practice or games.) So, school went great! Ha! It is to laugh. But seriously now, for lunch we had some pizza and a carrot. No ranch on seconds because they don't want you to enjoy your lunch. So...after band came the long awaited basketball practice from hell. (Can I say that? Well, I did.) Remember vegas? I sure do. Everytime I try to stand up. So, I went home, watched wrestling on the tube and went to bed. That's why I didn't write yesterday. So, this morning I got up and everything (which took a while). Did the usually routine and then went to school. Then went over to lunch after Study Hall. Lunch today was a choice between ravioli or chicken fajitas. Gee, hard choice there, ay?!?!? Here comes the best part. More to add on the White van conspiracy. OK, I wrote this down so here it goes: white Van conspiracy 1.5.99 After lunch, we (marty.john.matt.jeb.leigh.and myself) observed, from the alley, a white Ford 3/4 older model pick-up. It was labeled to look like a coke maintanence truck. One guy was just sitting in there, doing absolutely nothing. Then, all of a sudden, he got out and slipped on a coke jacket (his disguise). He wasn't really a coke man. The reason he got was probably cause he has me wired. I don't know how but them guys see me when I'm sleeping. Anyway, he got out and went into a little door on the side of his truck. He came out with a black-box and a lot of wire. A few tools, too. A BOMB! I'm positive! He then went in to 'work on' the 35¢ pop machine way back in the corner. I believe that if 35 people, in one day, buy pops from that machine, it will explode. I have to cut the wires before its too late. OK. That's all of that. After band..more practice...more running...more bliss. After practice, a volleyball game vs. Hazen. The ladies lost but it doesn't really matter because they could (and have) won at least one game and that's 1 more game that we've won. So, after the game I came home (i'll be darned). And now I must say good night. Bye.

Sunday, Jan 3, 1999

I went to church last night and slept in this morning until right now which is 12 o'clock or better known as noon. Yesterday, I slept in also and then tried to make myself some breakfast on our new griddle/grill deal. The bacon came out OK but the eggs stuck and I messed them all up real good. Anyway, then we went to Bis and went to the movie 'Patch Adams'. Pretty good show. Robin Williams was in it and he's a funny guy you know and it was based on a true story. After the movie, as we were walking out, we ran into one of my dad's buddy's from college and his family. It was Pablo and Collete Ronderos and their daughter Andrea. We visited for a bit and then left for NS. We had some pizza then I went to church. After church Mike didn't want to go to a party but I did anyway. Out at the Morton County Fair Grounds in the NEW Morton County Fair Building built by the Morton County Fair Committee. Anyway, it was KS's B-day and we were there. Then I came home and played 64 and went to bed. Mike left before I got up this morning. I think our shower is finally done. Maybe we can finally get clean. Baths suck. Its like sitting in a river except no current. The only way a Bath would be better was if the tub was the size of a pool not the size of a sink. Well, that's my 2 cents. Bye.

Friday, Jan 1, 1999

Today is New Year's Day, obviously. Its about 10:30 and all is well. My cousin Mike is still at my house. It snowed a lot today. I think like 5 or 6 inches of the white powder. I went to church this morning and prayed for all of you, again. Anyway, today wasn't a blast I guess you could say. I had a whole roast for lunch. No really. I did. Ok, I didn't. But I did have roast beef and ketch-up for lunch. For supper I had a can of 1912 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Noodles and Sauce. Tasty. Lots of vitamins. I then followed the Turtles with a half-gallon of Apple Juice. So, I guess that's about all. Have a Happy Day. Smile and tell someone your happy. Oh Happy...Happy...Happy Day!!!
